I am trying to make more of my own cards this year. I am off to a pretty good start!! This first card used leftover snowflakes from my Winter Fun layout yesterday. I added a bit of ribbon and a stamp that my awesome Stocking Sister sent me!
My second card is being sent to my cousin's daughter as she recovers from surgery. I made these flowers last May for Mother's Day and found my leftover stash (score!) so I decided to make one into a card. The flower layers were found on Walk In My Garden. I used a stamp from My Pink Stamper's Everyday Occasions set.
Two cards down, about 100 more to go LOL!
I feel your pain! I consider myself more of a scrapper as well and I usually get frustrated trying to get a card 'just right'. I really need a day where I can just sit down and do nothing but make cards! But then again....I need a few days like that to clean the house, scrapbook, run errands...you get the drift! :)
ReplyDeleteI think you did a great job Lori! That's a mighty lofty goal of 100!
Both cards are lovely! Nice job.
