Happy
Friday and WELCOME to the “We’re Going Retro” Paper Wing Production's
Design Team Blog Hop & Giveaway! I am so excited to be a Guest Designer!!! If
you found me first, then you're in the right place.
This
month we’re packing up our PWP stamp sets and traveling back in time to bring
you some “Retro” inspiration. We’re also
giving away a gift certificate to the Paper Wings Production’s online store to one
lucky follower.
For
a chance to win, all you need to do is: be a follower of the Paper Wings
Productions blog, The Aviary. Visit
each of the participating designer's blogs and leave them some love. Then go back to The Aviary and
leave a comment letting them you completed the hop. To increase your chances of winning, like the
Paper Wings Productions Facebook page and/or invite your friends to the hop. Then just come back and
let us know! Be sure to leave a separate comment for each of the
additional entries. The winner will be announced on Tuesday, April 9th,
2013 on the Paper Wings Productions blog.
I used the stamp set Vintage Technology for my project today! You can find it in the Paper Wing Shop HERE.
I used paper from The Colorful Life 8x8 paper pad. I originally stamped my images on white cardstock, but decided that maroon paper looked better.
I made a folder out of cardstock and adhered a pocket inside.
I made four 3x3 note cards using 3x6 kraft cardstock and scoring them in half.
I trimmed the patterned paper 2.75x2.75 inches and adhered to the front of the card.
I fussy cut the stamped images and added the sentiment.
I also stamped the typewriter on white cardstock and stamped DEAR on the letter. I adhered the white paper on top of the typewriter.
I tucked the cards into the pocket.
I stamped an additional phone for the cover. I can't wait to use these cards!!
Thanks for stopping by today - your next stop is the Talented DANA.

Oh such a vision - love the retro telephone! I had one of those growing up - then we moved to the 'wall' phone with that 20 foot stretchy cord, lol! Beautiful colors and style - tfs!
ReplyDeleteOh, and I have a graduating Senior this year, too, and am scrambling to get her album done as well - looking forward to your inspiration!
