And now onto my first project:
I purchased a round glass ornament at Michaels and filled it with sand and sea shells that I brought home from our vacation to Mexico.

I saw this idea on Pinterest and I originally was thinking about hanging a tag from the top of the ornament and writing Mexico 2012.  Well, this ornament sat "naked" for a whole year before I decided it would look better with vinyl on the front!!
I grabbed my gypsy and searched through my fonts using www.mycutsearch.com.

I used the shadow feature of the font Jasmine and sized the letters and numbers to .88 inches.

I cut Mexico 2012 in yellow vinyl and applied them to the front of the ornament.

Bright colors remind me of Mexico, so I chose yellow and orange!

I added a bright orange ribbon to the top and it is ready to hang on the tree!!  This is a great way to remember a special vacation.

Thanks for stopping by - I hope to see you again these next 11 days!
