"5" {Frosted Designs Sketch Along Tuesday Challenge}

Here is my take on the Frosted Designs Sketch Along Tuesday Challenge.

Here is a copy of the sketch.  Let me show you how I "boyed it down" for my son's 5th birthday party layout.

His party theme was Curious George, and I found these awesome monkey brads at Wal-Mart.  I don't understand how these scrapbooking supplies find their way into my grocery cart!!!

I cut out this bird and banner from Birthday Bash at 6.55w x 4.43h.  I cut off the bird.

I cut out the letters and numbers from Don Juan.  You can see how much paper I use (instead of wasted) by using my Gypsy to design my project!  The Kids Body Shop and Go Wild will be for the next page (still in progress).  I used this piece as a template to glue my letters and numbers on my page.

I cut the oval from Lyrical Letters.  I saw something similar for the numbers in the Scrapbook Design and You class book.  I put the monkey brads on the banner with the 5's.  I snipped the legs off of one of the brads and glued it onto a bottle cap with a red cardstock circle in it.

Be sure to join us at Frosted Designs with a card or layout from this sketch!!
