Scrapping for Less is sponsoring a wonderful prize. A prize of your choosing. Scrapping for Less is a Facebook Scrapbook Retail store where Teresa Russell sells scrapbook supplies...hot, trendy, current, and brand new to the market supplies at less than retail costs. It is basically a retail/pre-order group where you commit to ordering what is offered up for sale and then invoices are sent just a couple days before the stated order date. There are also typically current "items in stock" available for purchase also.

Scrapping for Less is offering a $20 credit to the winner of the hop. You must comment on each stop in order to be eligible to win the credit. Just click on the image below in order to go to group and ask to join. Thanks for hopping with us today.

Head over to Scrapping for Less to see what
Teresa has to offer!!!!
Make sure to leave a comment on each stop because the winner can be chosen from any of the participants blogs!

Now let me show you how I made my layout!!

We went to my brother's lake house for my niece Jenna's 12th birthday a couple of weeks ago.  It was the first time we have been to the lake this year as we are a baseball family and have limited free weekends!!

We had fun in the boat, in the water and in the sun!!!

I used my Cameo and images from the Silhouette Online store to create my layout.  I started out with a frame shape for a 12x12 layout, Hello Sunshine title, shovel, pail, sand and a sun.

I cut the Hello Sunshine out of white cardstock.

I cut the frame out of Quick Quotes bright paper (love this paper).

I cut the sun out of yellow patterned paper from Recollections.

My youngest was playing in the sand with Jenna's 2 year old cousin.  They were building sand castles.  I had an empty square and decided to fill it with sand, shovel and pail set from the online store and cut them out of cardstock.

Before I took the tan cardstock off my mat, I inked it to look like sand.

I put the sand castle together and adhered it to my layout.  I did not tuck it behind the window opening as we all know sand is messy!!!

I put the sun in one of the windows along with some of the best photos from our day at the lake!!

Your next stop is PAM!

Here is the entire line up, should you get lost along the way:

  12. I really like this layout and the detail you added to the castle. What I like most is that even though there are several large elements, the pictures are still the star of the page. Not easy to do!
