I open a 12x24 mat on my Gypsy to layout my pieces for a 2 page layout.
I open up a new layer and copy and paste the title. I group the letters by color of paper on my mat and then cut out.
I open another layer and move over the hats and the words. I copy and paste the words for my second page.
I cut them both out.
This is my all-time favorite tip with my Gypsy ~ use your negative piece to line up your project!! I have a heck of a time getting my letters straight when I want them straight, but in this case I wanted them to wave across the bottom of the page. I use paperclips to hold the negative (template) to my paper and then run my letters through the Xyron and stick them in their slots!!
You can see the words across the bottom of the pages here.
I used some twine to make my own tassle!! I glued it down with some ATG tape.
These two pages will come after in the album. I put Tanner's tassle on his certificate. Tanner and Jadon are BFFs, so I took a photo of them after the ceremony. I thought the page on the right looked a little plain, so............
I added some words and twine!
Thanks for stopping by today!!
