The doilies are from CTMH Art Philosophy and are sized to 3.47 inches.

I cut chipboard into triangles and covered them with Christmas paper.

I added some K and Comapny 3D stickers to each letter.

I used gold glitter tulle to string the banner flags together and it is ready to hang!!

Boo Banner (Cricut DIVA)

Hello Divas!  I am sharing my Halloween Banner today at Cricut DIVA!!

I know it is a little early, but Halloween is my very favorite holiday and I start early every year with my decorations!!!

Today I made a BOO Banner to share with you.  I used my Gypsy and Cricut Expression to decorate my it.

I used BOO! from CTMH Artiste sized to 2 inches.  I used Hide Contour to hide the inside cuts and the "!".  I cut this out of glitter cardstock.  When I use glitter cardstock, I reverse the image (I am showing the original image here) and place my cardstock glitter side down.  I use multi-cut 2.  When I am done, I wash my mat with dish soap and a scrubbie to get the glitter off.

I cut these 3D flower shapes from CTMH Art Philosophy sized to 5 inches.  I rolled them up with my McGill tweezers and used liquid glue on the center to hold them together.

I needed something to mount the letters on.  I cut this image from Teresa Collin's Chic and Scary sized to 3 inches.  I used Hide Contour to hide the inside cuts (oval and witch hat).

I used papers from my Halloween stash for all of my cuts.

I cut the triangles out of chipboard.  I traced and cut the paper to fit.  It was later (after I cut the paper) that I thought to cut everything out on the cricut.... at least I only had 3 banner flags!!

After I adhered the green paper to the banner flags, I used black acrylic paint to paint the edges.

Here is a close up of the 3D flower that I rolled up.  You can also see that I pop-dotted the letters onto the orange paper.

I finished the banner off with some orange ribbon.

I hope you have as much fun decorating for Halloween (or fall) as I do!!!

Shot Book

I recently turned 21.

Well, 21 times 2 plus 3!!

My friend Kylie has a friend who is turning 21 in August and asked for my help making her Shot Book.  Silly me, I thought she meant an immunization book or even a photo shot book at first.

When she told me about all the shots and activities they had planned and wanted scrapbook pages made - I was like YES that sounds like fun!!!  Then I felt a little tipsy just thinking about all that alcohol!!

I designed and cut out the paper and vinyl, but Kylie put everything on paper (including the gems and stickles) except for the vinyl on the cover.  I have Kylie's permission to put the pages we designed and made on my blog.

I used my Gypsy, Cricut and my Cameo!

The fireball is from the Silhouette store and is a baseball with flames.  We deleted the "laces" layer.

The font is Hannah Montana for all pages unless noted.

The hand came from A Child's Year.  I did a search on Pinterest for Spanking looking for an image of a hand to trace.....found a lot of interesting images but none were appropriate!!!

Scooby Snack was fun!  The bone is from  A Child's Year and the peace signs are from Disney/Pixar Cars.  Loved the bright colors - our inspiration was the Mystery Machine!

Kylie put individual gems on the letters!!

The lips are from Tags, Bags, Boxes and More 2.  There is a giant set of lips under the photos.  Kylie pop-dotted the smaller lips around the page.

This page was challenging.  This is the page where she will take a picture with the bouncer and her ID.  We searched for a body-builder image to represent the bouncer with no luck.

We created a Security shirt instead - totally Kylie's idea.  We used Impact font (with the Cameo) and the shirt from the Silhouette store.  The drivers license is from Locker Talk.

The bomb came from Indie Art (the third time I have ever used this cartridge).

The beer mug is from the Silhouette Store.  I embossed the foam!!  The font is Blackletter.

I welded a border with a camera image from Makin' the Grade.  The cursive font is from Quarter Note.

This font is Liquidism from dafont.com and cut with my cameo.  The shot glass was purchased from the Silhouette Store.

I used vinyl to decorate the cover of the album.  The font I used is from Art Philosophy.

On each page
The F: stands for FROM
The T: stand for TIME
and the X: is for Dana's signature

Kylie created half of the album.  Dana's sister made the other 10 pages.  I am happy to hear Dana's mom will be the designated driver!!  I sure hope it is a birthday to remember!!!

My sister-in-law is turning 40 next month....I told her I would make her a Shot Book.  She politely declined, especially after I suggested 40 shots for 40 years.  Clearly I am not a drinker!!!!

Celebrate Mothers - Mother Mini Album

Welcome to the Celebrate mother's blog hop!!!  If you are hopping along with us, then you should be here from Jessie.  If not, then go back to Lynda's blog at Memories in Tyme for the very beginning - you don't want to miss out on all the GREAT idea's along the way!!!

Mothers - we all have one...or are one - they are a necessary part of our existence - and today, we celebrate THEM!  We have our own mom's, our mother-in-law's, step-mom's, surrogate mom's, our sister's who turn in to a mother figure, Aunt's and Grandma's.....  People who are in our lives that help us to become the women we are today - this blog hop is all in celebration of each and every one of them!!!

Blog hop lineup is:

Now on to my project:

I started out with a chipboard album from Michaels.  One side of each page is covered with burlap. I flipped every other page so I had two sets of burlap pages together, and two paper-covered chipboard pages together (plus the covers).

I grabbed the phrase "Home is where your Mom Is" from the Silhouette Store and cut it out in pink and light green.  I made an offset shadow and cut that out in hot pink cardstock.  I layered some 3D flowers from the cricut cartridge CTMH Art Philosophy with some recollections flowers and butterflies from Silhouette Store.

I tied ribbon from my stash to the rings.

I wanted to keep the inside plain.  I painted hot pink paint to all of the page edges.  I inked some cardstock squares (for photos) and added a butterfly and crocheted flower to these pages.

The next set of pages were covered in fun papers and hot pink photo mats.  Again I used a paper butterfly and crocheted flower to accessorize.

I like to make a pocket in each of my albums, usually towards the beginning or the end.  I added "Mother" from the Silhouette Store.  The pink photo mat on the opposite page has another butterfly and crocheted flower.

Here is the back.

I love making mini albums to give as gifts.  I have a special mom in mind for this one :)

Thanks for stopping by, your next on the lineup is LISA!

Now for the fun part - the blog candy!!!  One lucky winner will receive $20 in free patterns from Scrapping with Lisa Designs!!!  Lisa has so many awesome patterns for both card making and scrapbooking - and a design team who brings you so many different ideas each week!  I love being a part of her team, and am thankful for her for giving us this great giveaway today!!!  Now, in order to get your name in for the drawing (to be held on 5/15, so make sure you check back for the winner on Lynda's blog) you will want to do:

Graduation Banner (Banner Bonanza Blog Hop)

Welcome to the Banner Bonanza Blog Hop!

I am your final stop in this hop and I hope to make it worth your wait!!!

We're so glad you could join us today! If you've come from Robin's blog, you're in the right place. If you've just come across the hop, please start at the beginning with Ashley at http://especiallymade.blogspot.com/  Made Especially For You
.

I have a high school senior and I created a banner for his graduation open house.  I wanted to add tennis, bowling and baseball icons to his banner along with his name and 2013.

I started with my Gypsy.  I used the banner found on Birthday Bash and put the shadow on my mat sized to 4 inches.  Because I used solid color cardstock, I flipped half of the banner flags upside down to maximize space.
I need 18 banner flags, so I cut out three sets of banner flags in black cardstock.

The next Layer on my Gypsy has my banner flags also sized to 4 inches.  This layer will fit on the shadow banner flag and is a bit smaller, so I was able to fit three rows of flags.

I cut out two sets of banner flags in white cardstock.  Because the two banners are designed to layer on top of one another, the holes match up as long as both layers are cut out at the same time.

For the sports icons, I used balls from Sports Mania.  I selected a tennis ball, baseball and basketball (I hid the inside cuts and added three holes for a bowling ball) sized them to 2 inches.

I cut the pieces out of cardstock (yellow, red, white and black) and the back side of some Christmas paper.
Here are my pieces all cut out.
I cut out Tyler, 2013 and T (for Titans) from Varsity Letter sized to 2 inches.

I cut them out in blue and white cardstock.

I found these starburst circles from CTMH Art Philosophy and cut them out at 3 inches.

They make a nice background shape.  There was not enough black showing and the white of the letters/numbers blended in with the white banner flag.  The black shape really makes the letters/numbers pop!

I adhered the black starburst circle to the banner flags and pop-dotted the balls and letters/numbers on top.

I debated on which ribbon to use.  The blue looked better even though it was glittery!!!  Hopefully Tyler won't notice the glitter!

Here are some close ups of the completed banner.

I added a star from George at 1.59 inches to separate Tyler and 2013.

In this close up you can see that I pop-dotted the letters and balls on the banner.

It is so hard to get a good photo of this big banner, but I hope the close up shots give you a good look!!

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  I have been working hard to plan Tyler's graduation party.  If you have any suggestions for a party held at my house, please do share!!!
