Little Spook

I just LOVE the Pumpkin Carving cartridge!!  I made this mesh and then did not want to cover it up!  I also made the same mesh a little smaller and will have a card to share with you later....
I put 4 rows of 3 circle images from Pumpkin Carving on the mat and welded them together.  I copied and pasted a second one and made that size bigger.
Here is a screen shot of the mesh.
I cut it out in black cardstock.
I used Blackletter for the font.  The yellow kind of got lost on the page, so I outlined the letters with a black pen.  The paper is from the new DCWV Fall scrapbook pad.  I cut the red mat a little long and used my Martha Steward Drippy Goo border punch on it.  To mimic a spider web I put some white tulle around the middle of the page (under the photo and black mat).  It is hard to see in this photo!
I added a photo of my very own little spook!!

That's cute, Lori :) I'm surprised that mesh you created cut so cleanly! It looks perfect! Do you happen to remember what kind of paper that is and what settings you used?

Oh Lori what a clever idea to make a mesh using this cartridge! I'm gonna have to remember this when I get ready to do our Halloween pics from WDW! Thanks for sharing this!

I used black cardstock from Michaels (a value pack 12x12). I always have my cricut set on 5, 5 and 6 for cardstock. I did use a new blade since the cuts were so intricate! I cut this same mesh out 4x5 with the same paper. That project will be coming soon...

Very neat idea. I bought this cart, but never thought of making a mesh with these.
