Team Milz

Many of you know that my son's friend and teammate was in a bad car accident a few weeks ago.  He was thrown from the truck.  He has improved so much, but still has a ways to go.  He is currently at a Rehab center and his mom is an OT, so he is in very good hands.  He had to shave his head to even up the patch that was shaved off after the accident.  The baseball team decided to also shave their heads, as did Tyler's best friends, brothers and his dad.

Tyler is an hour away from us during rehab, so I took photos when one of our moms buzzed all of the boys.  We put together this display board for Tyler so he knew how much he means to the boys!  I used Varsity Letter for the font.  "Believe" is the theme of his Caring Bridge site.

Three of the boys almost needed oxygen!!  Cutting off their hair was a bit hard for them, but they did it for Tyler!

Dalton's hair is in the far left pile, Jordon's hair is in the middle pile, and everyone elses' hair is on the right!  We combined Dalton and Jordon's hair and it was almost as much as everyone else's hair!!

This is the "After" photo.  Notice the "T" and the 4 (his jersey number) made out of the hair!!
Even Tanner wanted in on the action!!

So proud of these boys!  We miss you Tyler Milz ~ keep working hard and come back to the dugout!!!

Oh, I'm so sorry to hear about your son's friend being in an accident. I will add him to my prayers! The display you did for him is wonderful and should bring him some comfort and joy! It's a wonderful display!

I'll try to check back soon to hear of his progress!
