Today I am doing double duty!!! This card is my Bling project for Frosted Designs Bling Challenge and it is also my project for the With the Rain Comes All Things Beautiful Blog Hop! In my case, 'With the Snow' is more appropriate!!!
If you found me first, you will want to start the Hop HERE so you don't miss anything!! In case you get lost, I have a complete list below. I also have Blog Candy at the bottom of my post. I will draw my winner on Sunday!!
As a bonus, Monica at scraps2treasure is offering an over-all blog candy for those who are hopping along with us. She decided since the hop was about spring to to do a whole bunch of "spring flowers".
To be eligible you must become a follower along the blog trail, leaving a comment on each and every blog. On Saturday she will ask her buddy Randy (random.org) to select a blog number (from the list), and a comment number from that blog. Please make sure you have left a reliable way to contact you (email is best, in the safe format of **** at **** dot com ) so you can be notified by her personally. If you don't, she’ll have to select another winner.”

Lori - YOU ARE HERE
And now on to my projects!!
When I make a card, I usually make two at a time. I found this scalloped card idea from My Craft Spot. I loved the card and decided to make a couple!
I found a scalloped circle on Mother's Day Bouquet, but it is on several carts. I cut out 2 scalloped circles at 5.80w x 5.50h in creme colored paper. I cut out 2 circles also from Mother's Day Bouquet at 4.91w x 4.69h and 4.12w x 3.94h.
I used double sided paper from K&Co. for the circles.
Here is the back side of the paper ~ a nice contrast!
I grabbed some Prima Fowers as well as some Boutique Flowers from Michaels.
I took the scalloped circles and matced them together. I put the back piece on my Martha Stewart Score Board and scored at 1".
I glued the top of the front card piece to the back piece above the score line and creased my fold.
I used my Tim Holtz distress tool to roughen up the edges of the circles. I then inked the edges with Vintage Photo.
I added some cranberry alcohol ink to the paper flowers.
I had some pearl "swirlies" as I call them, and used my sticky transfer drywall-type tape to keep the pearls in order.
I put them on the card. Next I added the flowers. I put a bigger pearl in the center of the flower layers and added a metal butterfly (with added bling on her wings).
For my second card, I reversed the circles and added a ribbon leaf under the flowers. I put a blue crystal in the center.
And now onto the Blog Candy!!
This fabulous Scrapbook Tote might be yours if #1 you are or become a follower, #2 leave me a comment including your favorite flower (mine is the tulip) and #3 please leave a way for me to contact you!!
Your next stop in the hop is the Fabulous Inga!

Oooooh, I just LOVE the scalloped card idea. I never seem to remember to give that a try and default to the typical rectangle. NEXT TIME, I will do this!!!
My favorite flower -- hard to say, I love them all. Probably a freshly bloomed lilac would do it for me today.
I'm a follower and would love a chance to win that adorable tote!
