It's A Wrap ~ Nail Polish Gift Box

Welcome to the It's a Wrap Blog Hop hosted by Cool Beans By L.B.  Do you like to receive gifts?  How about give them?  Well this hop is all about the outside....the wrapping!

You should have arrived here from Terri's blog.  If you found be first, go HERE to begin the hop ~ you don't want to miss anything!!

This hop is filled with Cricut Circle Members ~ my MB name is ScrappinMyStressAway!
I made this cute Purse to hold my niece's birthday gift.  We go for a pedicure and I wanted to give her some nail polish, nail stickers, toe separators and some foot spray.

I started out with the Forever Young Cartridge and selected the nail polish purse.  I opened a 12 x 24 mat and sized the purse to 15.68w x 7.20h.

I took a piece of 12 x 18 watercolor paper and put it on a 12 x 24 mat.

I selected multi cut #2 to cut through the watercolor paper.

Here is my purse, but now it needs some color.

I took 2 pieces of paper from this K&Co paper pad.

I switched my mat size on my gypsy to 12 x 12 and cut out each half of the purse.

Here are the two cuts.

I trimmed the pieces.

I scored the purse at the score marks.

I inked the edges with Staz On purple ink.

I used Terrifically Tacky Tape to adhere the purse together.  I cut out a tag.

Here are the goodies in the purse!  Shhhh don't tell ~ her birthday is on the 19th!

I do have a little blog candy!  All you need to do to is #1 Be or become a follower, #2 Leave me a comment that includes your go-to gift wrap item, and #3 Leave me a way to contact you if you win!
Thank you for stopping by!  Your next stop in the hop is HERE!

Great gift bag. Love this idea for the items inside. Usually I grab a paper bag, I'm terrible about wrapping. I'm one of your followers.

Such a cute gift bag! I'm terrible at the packaging. I put a lot of thought into the gift, but usually I'm packaging it at the very last minute so there's almost no time to make the packaging cute. The most creative I've been is to stamp on the craft paper covering the box I'm mailing it in... So sad.

Great idea on using the water color paper! Thanks for the blog candy, you are such a sweetie!

I used tissue paper, with bags, as a wrap, as a stuffing, so many ways. I love using it!
