Disney Pixar Blog Hop!!

Welcome to the Disney Pixar Blog Hop!

If you love Disney Pixar and crafting, you came to the right place!  We have been sharing Disney or Pixar inspired projects ALL MONTH.   If you missed the first three weekends, you can still go back and see all of those projects too.  Just click HERE to see the projects from the first weekend, and click HERE to see the projects from the second weekend and click HERE to see the projects from the third weekend.

If you came here from Beth's blog, then you are in the right place.  If you just happened upon this Blog Hop, make sure to head over to Shawn's blog so that you see the full hop from the very beginning.

We are planning our next Walt Disney Trip (squeal) for November with our entire family.  Every time we go, I figure it is the last time I need to pre-make an autograph book but Tanner keeps insisting I make one!!  I now use 8x8 scrapbooks so I need a small clipboard to hold the papers for the characters to sign and then slip into the page protectors.  I updated my clipboard:
I found this quote online and re-created it using my fonts and my Cameo.  I painted the back side of the clipboard with chalkboard paint and added the white vinyl on top.
The front of the clip has a strip of clear dazzling diamonds from The Buckle Boutique and some fun ribbons.

Here is what my clipboard looked like for our last trip HERE.

I found the perfect scrapbook for Tanner.....well it will be perfect when I am done with it!!
This 8x8 book was on clearance at Michaels.  I knew I could cover the pink.  I did not know that the refills would not have holes in the exact places - so I reinforced each page with packing tape and punched new holes using my Crop-A-Dile.
I first colored black over the pink using a PITT artist pen big brush.  Once the ink dried, I added some red dazzling diamonds around the photo window.  I trimmed a photo of Tanner and slid it inside.
We are very lucky to get to go back to WDW!!  We leave for our trip on Tanner's birthday this year!

Before you go, make sure to sign up to win some AMAZING PRIZES from our sponsors!  Our sponsors for this hop include

Clipboard Photo Display

I am super excited today - my project is being featured at The Buckle Boutique!!!

I saw a few decorated clipboards on Pinterest and wanted to give it a try!!  I used a standard sized clipboard and covered it with paper from Frosted Designs October Scrapbook Kit.  I painted the edges of the clipboard with pink acrylic paint.

I cut out the border word "love" from the Silhouette Online store in black vinyl.

I used some Dazzling Diamonds from The Buckle Boutique.  I just LOVE Dazzling Diamonds because I can use my Cricut, my Cuttlebut, a punch or my scissors to make this any shape I want!!!

I trimmed some DD with my scissors to bling up the top of the clipboard.  I used a heart punch to add a blingy heart!

I finished it off with a ribbon flower and a tulle bow.

The best part about this clipboard is you can easily change out the photo!  I tacked up a photo with Belle that I double mounted.

I can easily swap this out with another photo.  This would make a nice gift or a fun clipboard at school!!

Hope you have a wonderful Week!!

Peace Bling Clipboard (The Buckle Boutique)

Today I am a Designer at The Buckle Boutique BLOG!  I have a fun little project that I hope inspires you!!!

I really like clipboards.  I am not sure why, as I don't typically use them but when I saw this mini clipboard at Michaels I had to get it!!

I added some blue Dazzling Diamonds to the metal.  The blue was a perfect match!  I tied a tulle bow to one side.

The front was pretty jazzed up, but the back was plain white.  I can fix that with my Gypsy and Cricut!!

I used the Peace Sign from Disney/Pixar Cars and sized it to 4.58 x 4.41 inches.

I used my deep cut blade set to 6.  I did not multi cut.  I put the Dazzling Diamonds face down on my mat.  Note - I did not reverse the image as it is symmetrical.

Now the back is as pretty as the front!

My daycare kids love using little clipboards and the girls were drooling over this one!!!

We are celebrating at Walt Disney World today so it is only fitting that I have a Disney project!

Peace, Love and Mickey!!

I make a Disney Autograph album every time we go - this is the album for this trip:

This 8x8 album has page protectors in the album, so I have to slide out the pages for autographs.  I am bringing a clipboard along to make it easier for the characters to sign the page.

I originally cut out the Disney 2013 in black vinyl, but thought the white would look better on the album cover.  I used the black vinyl on the back of the mini clipboard.

I used a tiny bit of black vinyl to mark the center of the clipboard.

I put the vinyl on the back, leaving space in the center.

I put a peace sign from Disney/Pixar Cars, a heart from George, and a Mickey head from Disney/Mickey Font on my Gypsy.

I put some scrap vinyl on my mat and cut them out.

I put Peace, Love and Mickey in the center of the clipboard.

I painted the edges of the clipboard with red paint.  I added some Disney Washi Tape and tied some red and black ribbons to the clip.

I hope you have peace in your life today!

 Up next is ALICIA!
