Summer Bucket List

It is officially the first day of summer on Friday.  I wanted to make a Summer Bucket List for my youngest son so he can make sure to do everything he (realistically) wants to do before summer is over.

I used Square 1 Masterpiece repositionable adhesive back fabric and my Cricut and Gypsy to cut out the letters.

For more information on this product, you can click HERE.

I started out with my Gypsy:

My Square 1 Masterpiece adhesive back fabric sheets are 8.5 x 11.  I wanted to use the entire sheet so I opened a square on Layer 2 of my Gypsy sized to 8.5 x 11.  This way I can cut multiple cuts all at once - stay tuned to my blog for the other projects!!!

For this project, I used Cherry Limeade and sized my letters to 1.06 inches.

I used the same settings for Square 1 as I do vinyl:  Blade Depth 3, Pressure 3 and Speed 3.

Because the letters are thin, I used transfer tape to keep them lined up perfectly.  Larger pieces of Square 1 do not need transfer tape.

Square 1 is thicker than regular vinyl and holds its shape better off the paper backing.  If you look at the word List, you can see the transfer tape does not go all the way to the bottom of the letters.  If this were vinyl, I would have a disaster on my hands here!!!

I burnished the letters on the bucket.

I found this free printable list on Pinterest HERE.  I printed it off and stuck it inside the bucket.

You can add supplies related to your Bucket List inside the bucket - tickets, money, sidewalk chalk, zoo pass, bubbles, pictures of a bike with NO training wheels - you get the idea!!

I hope you enjoy your summer!!!
