Birthday Card (Birthday Blog Hop)

Welcome to the Birthday Blog Hop!!!

If you are looking for the Back to School Blog Hop, please go HERE!

Hello - and welcome to our Birthday Blog Hop, where you will see all things related to birthdays today!  With Lynda's birthday being the 2nd of month - and Deborah's the 14th - we decided to do a fun hop to celebrate our special days!  Only with this party - you don't have to bring a gift!
So, lets get started!!!  If you are here from MIRANDA - then you are in the right place, but if you have just showed up here at my blog - make sure you go to the beginning at Lynda's blog because it's always best to start at the first of the hop for all the GREAT ideas you will end up seeing!

My niece had her 12th birthday recently and she is a competitive gymnast.  It just made sense to make her a gymnast birthday card!

I opened a card cut that I purchased from the Silhouette Store, as well as a gymnast and a birthday greeting.

I cut the pieces in her two favorite colors - pink and blue!  The blue was from the Collage Art Stack from DCWV and the pink cardstock is from Michaels.

I added some glitter ribbon and these blue and pink flowers from Michaels.  Without the flowers, it looked like the gymnast was jumping above the beam.  I thought it would be fun to have her jump the flowers :)

I used some scrap blue cardstock for the inside of the card.

I don't make cards a lot, but I love personalizing them when I do!!  Jenna loved the card!!

Your next stop in the hop is ROBIN LANE.
