Spring Clean Craft Room Tips and Tricks

I went from this.....

to this!

Today I am sharing my Spring Cleaning Craft Room Tips and Tricks at Cori's BLOG.

I did some Spring Cleaning in my Scrapbook Nook.  Yes, I said Nook!!  My walk-out basement is my in-home daycare and I have this little nook for my desk/scrapbook area.  Some day I will take over my college-aged son's bedroom but for now this works great!

I have 5 tips that work for me:  Ribbon Storage, Cardstock Storage, Scrap Paper Storage, Stickles Storage and Button/Brad Storage.  Come on in and see!!
I have to keep my stuff out of the reach of little hands.  I got creative with drawers, a shelf tucked behind my table and an armoire.  I have to keep things in front of me or else I forget about them.  I believe they also brighten up my space :)

Go to Cori's blog and see my complete tour and tricks and tips.  Come back here and let me know your favorite organizing tip -OR- share your own organizing tip that could help me!!!

I will use Random Number Generator to select one lucky person to send some blog candy to.  It will be something I have cleaned out but will not be a used product!!!

I love the baby food jars in the iris case, so smart!! I too have a home daycare and am having to share my space with a playpen:( I have less then two weeks to clean it up as i too am a slob!! For me I use the wall as much as i can, i have i foot wide by 6 feet long shelves all along the one wall and have bins from the dollar store on them to but all my loose "stuff" in. I also have a shelf that i got from Value village hanging on my wall that fits all my ink, stickles and some stamps on it. I also use the back of the door for my embellishments and smaller punches. I have an over the door shoe holder there (actually i have two LOL) one is black and the other in clear. I really should take a picture of the room now (gulp) and then a picture of when i am done cleaning!! thanks for your tips I hope some of mine help!! thanks also for the chance to win!!

I love your idea about putting velcro on the stickles bottoms and having them hang upside down! Genius! Thanks for the chance!

Great job organizing and some spring cleaning- I do that all the time otherwise it gets out of fhand and then I dont want to take the time to do major cleaning. But I love the idea with the acrylic frame and veldo for the stickles- I think I will be making one of these real soon. Mine are in a drawer and not upside down like they should be.

great reorganize job. i like to use clear plastic storage containers labeled with contents to store all my supplies. i also find that putting tools away as soon as i'm finished using them helps me stay organized.
