Bracelet Bling (The Buckle Boutique)

Today I am featured at The Buckle Boutique!  I made a pretty cuff bracelet using rhinestone sticker sheets!!
I purchased this Fashion Cuff Sizzix die from Modern Surrealist (Marisa Pawelko).  This makes a great cuff bracelet!  You can find this die HERE.

I used the die in my Cuttlebug.  You can use this in a Sizzix Big Shot or other die cut machines that have openings for big dies.
Cut a piece of rhinestone sticker sheet just a bit larger than the die.  Place the sticker sheet rhinestone side up for easier cutting.
Crank the handle of the Cuttlebug to cut through the rhinestone sticker sheet.  Repeat with a strip of felt.
You are going to stick the rhinestone sticker sheet to the felt - this is much more comfortable on the skin!!
I peeled the clear backing off the rhinestone sticker sheet and carefully attached it to the felt.
Here you can see the felt backing.
I laced some skinny ribbon through the holes.
Here is the back.
I tied the ribbons into a bow.
I tried another cuff using Stretch Magic elastic bead cording.  I had to glue the knot so it would not come undone.  I used Beacons 527 Multi-Use Glue.
Here is my lovely model wearing a leopard print cuff!
The other side shows the knot.  I retied the knot and glued it after this picture as it was a little loose for her!
I had so much fun with these cuffs and can't wait to explore other options for this die cut.

Thanks for joining me today!!!

Flower Can Hug (Buckle Boutique)

I am so excited to be featured on The Buckle Boutique Blog today!!!

Every summer I decorate a new can hug!  This year I added The Buckle Boutique Adhesive Rhinestone Sticker Sheets.
I cut this flower using a Tim Holtz die cut in my Cuttle Bug.  I cut it the same way I cut cardstock, I put the rhinestone sticker sheet rhinestone side down on the die and sandwich them between two "B" plates and crank them through my Cuttle Bug.
I cut the flower out of pink.  I trimmed a 3x3 square out of purple and adhered them to my can hug - instant bling!!!

The Buckle Boutique meets Gift Bags

I am excited to be featured on The Buckle Boutique BLOG today!!

I decorated tiny gift bags with Rhinestone Sticker Sheets today - these bags are perfect for gift cards!!

I ran some rhinestone sticker sheets through my Cuttle Bug machine using two different Tim Holtz dies.  I had these tiny gift bags for a while now and thought it would be fun to glam them up!
I cut the bird and bird cage out of a clear rhinestone sticker sheet.  I used some ink to color the bird, branch and beak.
These flower pieces are cut out in pink and gold rhinestone sticker sheets.  I layered them together and adhered them to the bag.

I cut the rhinestone sticker sheets out the same way I cut cardstock out.  I sandwiched the sticker sheet and die between two "B" plates and cranked the handle.  The sticker sheets just popped out!!

These are darling and will work out well for some upcoming birthday gift cards this month!!
You can find the sticker sheets HERE.

Fall Baseball Layout

This week at Let's Scrap we have a 2-page layout for 8 photos!  I can handle that!!  It is not required that you create both pages, and you can even substitute embellishments for photos - as long as your layout resembles the sketch!!
As you can see, I flipped the two larger photos, left off the half circles and heart doo dads.  I did not stitch on my layout, instead I added some ribbon.  A sketch is just a starting piont!!
I embossed my title FALL BASEBALL with my Cuttlebug and Swiss Dots embossing folder.  I pop-dotted them to my layout.
I added a little tag with my journaling.  You can see my dirt brown ink (aka Vintage Photo) around the edges.  The ribbon came from Michaels dollar bins.
I cut this banner flag (stretched it out) and Be A Champion from my Cameo.

You can see more of the ribbon that looks like baseball stitching too.
Because Tanner is a catcher and a pitcher and both teams had blue jerseys, I wanted to label the photos.  I cut the words out of vinyl and transferred them right to the photos.

Frosted Designs Challenge ~ Sports Layout

Welcome to Frosted Designs 2nd Annual online Crop!  Lori here from ScrappinMyStressAway with your May 6th 10:00am - Noon challenge:  Sports Layout.  For this challenge you need to make a layout for any sport.

For my layout, I chose some photos of my son playing soccer.  You can create a layout with photos of a family member or friend playing sports, a sporting event that you attended, photos of sports equipment, your dream sport, your favorite sport, etc.
I started my design with my Gypsy and Sports Mania Cartridge.

I put the soccer ball and layer on my mat sized to 4.54 inches.  I added the phrase Kick This sized to 2.23 inches, two of the soccer boy borders sized to 1 inch. ~ all from Sports Mania.

From Baseball, I added the jersey top sized to 2.69 inches.  I added the number 9 from Varsity Letter sized to 0.79 inches.

I cut out the pieces in black and white cardstock.

I used my Cuttlebug to emboss my background paper with sports words.  I inked the paper with Antique Linen.

I added some chipboard stickers from Me and My Big Ideas an some twine.

I decided to create a second page to go with.
The lighting was not the same when I finished this one.  I cut out I <3 Soccer at 1.82 inches and the soccer player at 4.57 inches both from Sports Mania.

I adhered the twine onto the heart.

I added some more of hte chipboard stickers (and some twine) to the layout.

Here are both of my layouts.

I have some sporty Blog Candy up for grabs.  I will use Random Number (Mr. Randy) to select my winner. Make sure you link up your sports layout ~ please no back posting!
Thanks so much for cropping with us this weekend!!!

A Way Of Life Notebook (Frosted Designs)

This week at Frosted Designs our challenge is Embossing.  For my Design Team project today, I chose to use my CuttleBug to emboss.  One of my friends wanted an exercise journal and asked me if I would make her one.  She wanted a mini composition book so the paper would be lined.
I picked up some of these at Target during the Back To School clearance sale this fall.  We picked out some K&Co. paper to cover the front and back covers.  I adhered them with my ATG gun.
I cut out a tag and the words "A Way of Life" using my Gypsy.  Mariana wanted a quote or saying that represented what exercise means to her and this is what she came up with!

The tag is from Lacy Labels cut at 4.09w x 2.49h (I rotated it 90 degrees).

The font is Quarter Note at .84 inches.  I welded the words together and sized the group to fit on the tag.
I used this cuttlebug folder to emboss the tag.
I used Vintage Photo ink and a cosmetic sponge to ink the edges and lightly ink the top layer of embossing so it would stand out.
I cut out the words in metallic brown cardstock and used my Xyron to adhere them to the tag.
I finished it o
