Father's Day Beer Mugs (Sassy)

Hello - Today I am the Guest Designer at my friend Sheila's BLOG!!  Today I have a fun Father's Day project.  I wanted to make something fun for the dad's and Papa's in my daycare this year.  I recently decorated some beer mugs for the men in a wedding party and a friend wanted a similar one for her dad.

I turned on my Cameo and dug out my vinyl and made several different ones to choose from!
This one is the most requested!!
I love the white letters on the black ties!!
The moustache theme is still going strong!
Putting vinyl on glasses is a little tricky due to the curve of the glass, but a little patience and practice go a long way!!!

I hope all of the dad's and Papa's in your life have a wonderful Father's Day later this month!!!

Father's Day Blog Hop (Amazing Dad LO)

Happy Father's Day to all of the Fathers, Father Figures and Grandfathers out there!!  My boys are blessed to have their father and grandfather (papa) in their lives!!

If you are looking for the Summer Party Blog Hop (6-15), click HERE.

Welcome to the "Father's Day" Blog Hop!

We're so happy you could join us today to honor Fathers, Brothers, Sons, Uncles or any other man who has been a great influence in our lives!

You should have arrived from SARAH.  If you happened by my blog or are joining me from your dashboard, head over to Miranda's blog to start at the beginning.
We don't want you to miss any of the fun!

In addition to seeing a lot of awesome projects, there is some blog candy available too.  Miranda will be giving away a Michael’s or JoAnn's gift card (winner's choice).  To be eligible for the blog candy, you are required to visit each stop in the hop and leave a comment!
The winner will be announced Wednesday, June 19th on Miranda's blog!

Here is my project:

I made a 12x12 layout of our 3 boys that I will put in a frame for my husband's office.

I found the frame (cut in light blue cardstock), the stars and "Amazing Dad" from the Silhouette store.

Here is a screen shot of the stars and sentiment.

I centered Amazing Dad on the bottom and put a star embellishment on each end.  I love that there are three stars inside the circle on the right as we have three boys!

My youngest and oldest sons are the closest and I love this picture of them (top left)!!  My middle son graduated from high school last month and I forced all three boys to pose together (top right).  Our youngest two play baseball which is a big part of our spring and summer every year.

I could not get a good photo of the layout in the frame, but I purchased the frame at Michaels.  It is in the section with display cases in the frame section.  I love framing and hanging layouts!

Thanks for stopping by today!  My husband runs a baseball tournament every Father's Day weekend and is in baseball heaven.  That is a gift in itself for him!!!  What do you do to celebrate dad?

Next on the hop is LISSA MARIE!!!

Should you get lost along the way, here is the entire line up:

Best Ever Papa Card

Welcome to the Erica's Craft Room Grandparent's Day Blog Hop.  We are celebrating Grandparents Day which is tomorrow!

If you found me first, please go to Erica's BLOG to begin the hop.  If you get lost along the way I have included the Blog Line Up below:

My boys all have a special relationship with their Papa (my father-in-law) and I wanted to make him a special card for Grandparent's day.

I took advantage of one of the Cricut Digital carts that were free on my Gypsy for the month of August (or until you update your Gypsy after August).  I am a circle member and I have quite a bit of free digi carts right now so I have been cutting like crazy!!!

I used one of the images on the Father's Day - Daddy digital cart.  I made it into a card.

I put the shadow image of the Best Ever Daddy cut on my mat at 3 inches.  I copied and pasted another image.  I flipped and welded it to the top of the original image to create my card base.

I cut the card base out of white cardstock.

I put the rest of the layers on Layer 2.

I used Hide Contour to hide the inner cuts to line up the word DADDY.

I wanted to use PAPA instead of DADDY.  I used the font from CM Cheerful Seasons and rotated the word PAPA 15.00.  The word fit when the letters were sized to .73 inches.

I cut out the layers in cardstock.  Papa loves baseball, so I used a baseball paper as the background paper and red, white, blue and black cardstock for the rest of the layers.

I used the template from PAPA to line up my letters on the banner.

I assembled the rest of the card front and adhered it to the card base.

Here is my card for the "Best Papa Ever" for Grandparent's Day!

How do you celebrate Grandparent's Day?

Thanks for stopping by ~ your next stop in the hop is the Talented TARA!
