Master Crafter Entry ~ Rock Star Mini Album

I created two projects and had my followers vote on their favorite.  My mini album won the most votes!  Thank you so much to my followers, facebook friends and email scrapbooker group for sharing your opinion with me!!!

Here are the supplies I received in my box.

I used the Scissor Mouse to cut apart my water color paper that I used for my book pages.

This thing is slick!!!  I was surprised at how easy it was to use and I did not need a cutting mat!!

I used Lacy Labels for the shape of my pages.  I sized the page to 6.40 width x 3.89 height.

I went to Rock Princess for my titles and fun die shapes.  I used the size of my pages (on another Layer) to help me size the phrases and cuts.  They range in size from 1.27 inches to 2.06 inches.

I used gold paper from my stash and the rest of the paper came from my DWCV mini stack.

I sized and layered the star over the edge of the shape of my page and cut it out.

More cuts from Rock Princess.
I cut the cloth bag into strips and stamped "destiny" on it to create a ribbon.  I also used the drawstring tie from the bag to tie on my rings.

The big purple button did not match my color scheme, so I covered it with scrapbook paper and added a tiny butterfly on top from a Martha Stewart punch.

I added the green bling to the little crown.

I used Rock Princess to cut out some phrases and fun "rock star" shapes.

I cut out a partial star to create a page within the album.

I tied a strip of the cloth bag and glued it to the microphone.

Here is the back.  I just love the guitar paper!!
If you like what you see, please vote for me HERE starting on Sunday!  My entry is #20!

If you want to see my other project using these supplies, it is HERE.

Master Crafter Challenge ~ Help me decide which one to enter!!

I was lucky enough to receive a box from Sarah Hamer (pinkbydesign) for this challenge!!

Inside the box was:

- Scissor Mouse sponsored by Westcott
-DCWV Rockstar mat stack sponsored by DCWV Deals
-Cotton Bag Sponsored by State line Bag Co.
-1/2 sheet of Rhinestones sponsored by Queen & Co.
-Sentiment stamp sponsored by Pink by Design
- 2 Assorted Buttons

Incorporate as much from the box as possible– realizing that one thing is a tool, and may not be used as part of the project, but used to make the project.  You may use other things from your stash to make your project. Think outside of the box, and have fun!

Me here again.....I made two projects and tried very hard (for me) to think outside the box.  I am a scrapbooker mainly and really wanted to NOT make a layout!  I believe I can only enter one of my projects and I need help deciding!!!

Project #1 is a pizza box and four cards.  I cut apart the cloth bag and punched out a couple of flowers and a hexagon.  I used the scissor mouse to curve-cut my papers (by the way LOVED the scissor mouse way more than I thought I would).  I used the stamp on a tag, cloth bag piece and a card.  I inked the tie from the bag and used it as a flower stem and a tie on the tag.  Two buttons were used on cards.  I used some bling on one card and also the center of my flower on the box.  I used the paper stack for all of my paper except the Kraft cards stock.

As a scrapbooker, this project was a little outside my own box.  It was very fun to make even with the limited supplies.  I did not like that the four cards were all different (outside my box) but I do love the colors of the papers!

Project #2 is a mini album.   I cut the cloth bag into strips and stamped it to look like ribbon.  I used it with other ribbon and the string from the cloth bag on the rings.  My biggest button was purple, so I covered it with some paper and glued it to the cover of my album.  I used bling on the cover.

I used part of a star as a page in the book.  I used Rock Princess to make cuts for the cover and inside of the album.  I love making mini albums but rarely fill them with pictures.  I will give this one to my niece and she can put the photos in.

Here is where you come in.  I really want to win one of the prizes so I need you to help me enter the project that is the most ORIGINAL and uses all of the supplies (both did that one) and I can't decide!!!!

Please leave me a comment letting me know which project you like best #1 or #2.  THANKS!!!
